At this
time of the year, most students are found preparing for their 12th
board exams. Apart from having the stress of clearing their boards
with the best possible marks, they are also concerned about the
undergraduate
entrance exam
that
awaits them as soon as they finish their boards. So, as it stands,
most students need to prepare for an entrance exam along with their
board examinations. At one of these strenuous points of time in
students’ pivotal career decisions, it is important for
universities to provide comprehensive information about the courses
and application processes, which would save the time of students and
well as their parents. So, for Symbiosis’ courses, we have compiled
a list of all the institutes that accept SET scores in Pune and the
SET process.
The
following institutes in Pune accept SET scores:
Symbiosis
Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR)
Symbiosis
Centre for Management Studies (SCMS)
Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC)
Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC)

Symbiosis
School for Liberal Arts (SSLA)
Symbiosis
School of Culinary Arts (SSCA)
Symbiosis
School of Law (SSL)
Symbiosis
Institute of Technology (SIT)

These

when is it?
SET
comprises of four papers in total, that is, SEED for Design, SLAT for
Law, SIT EEE for engineering, SET-General for all others. These are
mandatory for undergraduate
admissions in Pune
and
other cities, for most Symbiosis institutes.
This
year the exams will be held on the 5th
of May. It will be conducted in two sessions - morning (9.30 am to
12.00 pm) and afternoon (2.30 pm to 5.00 pm). SLAT and SEED will be
conducted in the morning session and SIT EEE and SET-General in the
evening.
Candidates
must note that the test is only the first step of the admission
procedure and they have to apply to the individual institutes.
We
hope this guide helps students make a sound choice of their course.
