The Symbiosis Entrance Exam 2017 is scheduled on 6th of May, 2017. The registration process started on 26th December, 2016 and are open till 13th April, 2017. The last date for payment of application fee is 17th April, 2017. The results of the test will be declared on 19th May, 2017. There are two sessions of the exam, morning and evening, with a total of 5 question papers. A student can appear for an exam from each session. It is conducted around 21 cities of India, thus giving a feasibility to the students to appear from their nearest test centers. To appear in the exam, the students need to fill an online form after which they get their admit cards with all the necessary information on it. The students need to carry this admit card with an authentic ID proof to their respective test centers. One thing to keep in mind is that once an applicant loses his/her admit card, Symbiosis does not issue a duplicate admit card.

It is conducted in 21 cities around India, giving the candidates to appear for the exam from different corners of the country. When a candidate fills the registration form, he/she is granted an admit card and further details of the exam can be gained from the admit card.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria to appear for this undergraduate entrance exam is that a student need to secure 50% marks if he/she is from a general category and 45% in case of reserved category in their 10+2 exams. The students need to fill the SET form online. Also, the students appearing for the test should not be more than 20 years of age, however in case of reserved category the age limit is 22 years.

Test Structure:

  • SET is a pen-paper based test. It is an objective test and the students would get four options for each question.
  • The time limit for this test is 150 minutes.
  • There are two sessions of the test (morning and evening).
  • If a student wants to give the SET test for more than one subject, he/she has to opt for one course from the morning session and one from the evening session.
  • Also, there is no negative marking for the wrong answers.

The one thing that has to be kept in mind is, this test is only to qualify the student for their respective courses. Every college has their own selection criteria thereafter.

The SET exam 2017 is scheduled on May 6, 2017. The registration closes on April 13, 2017. The results are to be declared on May 19, 2017 and will be available for the students for a period of one month on the website, i.e. till June 20, 2017.
