Appear for SET and Unlock the Door to Symbiosis


Pune often known as ‘The Oxford of the East’, provides a lot many avenues for students all over the world. The recent growth in infrastructure, the technological development and the growing career prospects has attracted a lot of students from all around the globe. The main reason behind this is, Pune houses some of the best institutions in India. Many students from around the world come to pursue undergraduate degree in Pune.

Among these institutes the one that has made a mark in the education industry is Symbiosis. The various schools and colleges of Symbiosis Pune has been set up with one just objective, provide quality education. In this journey of providing the best education to not just the people of our country but also globally, many more of its institutes kept coming up. Different colleges, different courses, different campuses, but one objective, to provide excellent education to the students. It has been a dream of many individuals to study in this prestigious university. And to turn the dream into a reality, the aspirants need to clear a hurdle.

This year, the Symbiosis Entrance Test 2017 is scheduled on the 6th of May. This test is applicable to gain admission in 14 institutes and 19 Programs of Symbiosis. But not everybody is eligible for this test. A student must secure 50% marks in general category and 45% marks in case of reserved category in their 12th standard, and only then can they appear for the entrance exam.

This test is not the only step to gain admission in Symbiosis undergraduate courses. After a student clears the test, every college has their own selection criteria. The test is mostly followed by GD and PI rounds that decide on the selection criteria of a student.

It is an online objective test that has a duration of 150 minutes. The best part about the test is that there is no negative marking for any wrong answer. Symbiosis Entrance Exam is conducted in two sessions, with a total of five question papers. A candidate can choose to apply for one paper in each session. It is conducted in 21 cities around India, giving the candidates to appear for the exam from different corners of the country. When a candidate fills the registration form, he/she is granted an admit card and further details of the exam can be gained from the admit card.

The last date of registration for SET is April 13th, 2017 and the results will be declared on 19th May, 2017.
