Appear for SET for the Best Undergraduate Program in the Country

The end of 10+2 exams mark a period of never ending discussions between a parent and a child. There are certain questions that need to be answered when it comes to deciding which career to choose. This one decision can create a major impact on a student’s career, hence it is extremely necessary to take this decision carefully and correctly. Here is a way in which you can decide which is the best undergraduate program for you:

1. How to Decide Upon the Location?

Deciding upon the location is the most important thing to do before settling for a college. Supposedly, you start with North and analyzing its pros and cons, you don’t want to settle with it. Now coming to Central and East, maybe you don’t find good enough colleges. That leaves you with the West zone. And when looking for a college in the west part of India, why not opt for an undergraduate program in Pune?

Pune rightly known as ‘Oxford of the East’ can become your best bet for a promising career.

2. Which college should you choose?

Now that you have decided upon the city, it is imperative to decide upon the best colleges in Pune for undergraduate program and register for their entrance tests. While looking for a college, you basically need to look for the placement opportunities provided by the college, ranking of the college, the location, and what all career opportunities can the college provide. And the one university in Pune that offers all these is Symbiosis. So pursuing a Symbiosis undergraduate program turns out to be the best option.

3. How to Seek Admission in Symbiosis?

The students need to appear for an undergraduate entrance test for Symbiosis known as SET. It is conducted by Symbiosis International University through which a student can gain admission in any one of the 14 different institutes of Symbiosis. It is an objective test the duration of which is 150 minutes.

4. Are the registrations still open?

Yes, SET registrations are still open. The registration is open till 13th of April, 2017. The last date of payment of SET registration fee is 17th of April, 2017. SET is conducted every year and this year it will be held on the 6th of May, 2017, the results of which will be declared on 19th of May, 2017.

SET is conducted over 21 cities in India giving a chance to every student around India to appear for the test. The test has five papers spread over two sessions and students can pick one paper from each session. One thing to be kept in mind is that SET is not the final step of admission for the colleges in Symbiosis. Every college has their own procedure for the final admission. Symbiosis Hyderabad and Noida are also considerate options for people wanting to study in Symbiosis.
