Symbiosis Entrance Test registrations now open, here’s all you need to know!

The registrations are now open for entrance tests for admissions in to any of the undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International (deemed) University. Candidates who wish to pursue any of the Symbiosis undergraduate programs must now register for the tests according to their respective courses of choice. Read along to know more about the institutes under SIU, programs available, entrance tests for respective courses, and test cities.

Programs:
Institutes in the SIU umbrella provide undergraduate degree programs in B.A LL.B., B.B.A LL.B, B.Design, BCA, BBA IT, B.A. Mass Communication, B.Sc Economics Hons., B.A. Liberal Arts, B.Sc Liberal Arts, B.Sc Culinary Arts, B.Tech.
Admissions to Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis School of Nursing (SCON) and for Symbiosis School of Photography (SSP) are not compulsorily through the Symbiosis Entrance Exam; candidates who wish to apply to these institutes must visit their respective websites for further details.
Exams and important dates:
Registrations for all the tests and courses open on the 29th of January, 2018 and close on 14th of April, 2018. All of the entrance exams will be held online in the test centres on 5th May, 2018. Results will be announced on 14th May, 2018.
LAW: The entrance exam for law courses is SLAT (previously known as SET-Law) and will be conducted from 9:30 to 12:00.
DESIGN: The entrance test for design courses is SEED (previously known as SET-Design) and will be conducted from 9.30 to 12:00.
ENGINEERING: SITEEE (previously known as SET Engineering) is the entrance exam for applicants seeking admission in any of the B. Tech programs offered at any of the institutes and will be conducted from 14:30 to 17:00.
OTHER COURSES: SET exam 2018 is a general exam for aspirants seeking admission in either of the following courses: BCA, BBA, BA Mass Communication, B.Sc. Economics, BA Liberal Arts, B.Sc. Liberal Arts, B.Sc. Culinary Arts. The exam will be conducted from 14:30 to 17:00.
Note: The tests will only be held once. Candidates, who wish to appear for more than one exam cannot choose to appear for exams held at the same time, and so they must choose both exams at separate timings. (Candidates appearing for SET-general cannot appear for SITEEE and vice versa. Similarly, candidates appearing for SEED cannot appear for SLAT and vice versa.)
